Great British Spring Clean in Marlow

Jan Bailey

Many thanks to everyone who came along and took part in the Great British Spring Clean.  The Town looks great!

Marlow Town Council is calling for residents and organisations to take part in the Great British Spring Clean 2019, which takes place in the town on Saturday, 30th March. The project is part of the Keep Britain Tidy campaign, which aims to bring people across the country together to clear up the litter that blights Britain’s towns, villages, countryside and beaches.

“We’d like residents, businesses and schools to identify the parts of the town that need cleaning up and if possible, join us as volunteers on the day,” Cllr Suzanne Brown said. “Any help will be greatly appreciated.”

The initiative has already attracted enthusiastic volunteers from the Town Council, Marlow Wombles and other local groups.

Volunteers will meet outside Court Garden House at 10am, wearing suitable footwear. Litter grabbers and refuse sacks will be provided.

To get involved please contact Cllr Suzanne Brown via email:  or telephone 01628 475726.
